ABOUT

We are a group of three from AUT completing our final year of Bachelor of Communications majoring in Screen Production. Collectively we have set out to create an important documentary about Endometriosis and the struggles women have to face. Our hope for the documentary is that we can bring awareness to women's health whilst giving women a voice to share their stories.

The documentary follows three women sharing their struggles of navigating doctors, public healthcare and insurance to gain an Endometriosis diagnosis. Each woman describes the emotional toll of undergoing multiple surgeries to diagnose and relieve their pain.

Endometriosis An Invisible Battle aims to address this important topic through our participants’ lived experiences with the disease, as advocates for better education, a voice for women and better treatment in the future.
